International Community Guilds

All activities of The Music Guild are overseen by the Right Reverend Dr. Gary Robert Buchanan. Since 1975 he has been a member of the International Community of Christ. For the Church, he is Director of Music since 1979, serves on the faculty of the Jamilian University of the Ordained, is editor of the Community Communique, conductor of the Jamilian Hand Bell Choir, co-chairman of the American Association of Concerned Clergymen (of the Advocates for Religious Rights & Freedoms), acting prior of the Church’s priory at Steamboat Hot Springs, and director of Wavefront BIOresonance research at the Healing Center and Spa at Steamboat.

Buchanan is also Vice-President of the Andean Explorers Foundation & Ocean Sailing Club. As an internationally recognized educator, musicologist, composer, and conductor for over four decades, Dr. Buchanan is Founding Conductor and Music Director of the Foundation Orchestra Association.
